Signs have been making businesses stand out from the rest since commerce itself was just a wee nipper. Nowadays, with 99% of signage being designed on a computer and made with vinyl, you can make your business stand out with the human touch, via a Signwriter who is geekishly passionate about letterforms and layout, with just his hands, some brushes and a bit of paint.

Fi Fi

Here is a lil' piccy I did for my cousin Max's birthingday - he asked to do a portrait of his luvverly girlfriend Fi.

Hamilton House billboard

Here's a sign I did a couple of months back. Photographs courtesy of a very adept Mr. Daniel Oliver.

Royce Rolls Cafe

Here's a bunch of signs for a lovely woman who runs the Royce Rolls Cafe down in St.Nick's Market, in Bristol. If you're ever there, give them a try - despite the shocking lack of any animal meat in their sarnies, they taste absolutely delicious.

Spice route drinks menu

Here's a sign I did for the ladies at The Spice Route. Personally, I think it's a bit on the busy side - too much info - it would have looked better over about twice as much board space, but hey, customer's always right and all that

Bedouin Cafe

Here's a little 24 foot sign I did for, er, the Bedouin cafe. They did Glastonbury and are planning to do a few more festivals and other such places where people tend not to wash.

Falafafalafalafalafels

Here's one a few A-boards I did for The Bedouin Cafe.  Like a pratt, I managed to not get any photos, apart from this one, which I got from a friend.  As you can see, it's really getting into the spirit of things and looking fairly mucky for it.

Heroes of the Honky-Tonk

Here's some portraits that I did some time ago of various dudes who all had the blues reeeeaaal bad, apart from Dwight Yoakam who's still alive, and who presumably, still has it bad.

Space apparel

After I did that window thing for Avalaan, they asked me to do a tee shirt design - the only specifics that they had were that they wanted a full cartoon page and that it should be in space - so may I proudly present to you, 'Mars Needs Boners'. Expect to see all the freshest kids wearing this in, er, winter 2010.

Avalaan shop window

Here's a window splash I did for the nice chaps down at avalaan. Super nice day ensures super unclear and reflective photos, but hey, it's hot so I'm not complaining.

The most important meal of the day...

Here we have a powerful and moving story of one cereal's bright, but tragically brief life.

Ewok drama

One of my most emotionally involved tales. Despite rumours, this is not autobiographical.
'..Endor' really took it out of me, but I think it was worth it - the results speak for themselves.
Here's a flyer I just made for some nice people down the road, past the barn, and up your pappy's ass.

Bosko & Honey

I had the pleasure of seeing these to plucky pluckers from Oz play in a tiny place called the Constitutional Club on the outskirts of Taunton about this time last year. Hopefully if they play again soon, they might visit somewhere with a slightly bigger genepool, and then perhaps more folks can enjoy them, cos they're great.
Sorry for the shit quality, the scanner's no bigger than Jeremy Beadle's special sunshine hand (R.I.P), and I'm a spacktard at 'pooters, but you get the gist of it.

Business card

Here's a business card/invoice I recently did for a friend. Despite the total avoidance of anything to do with her chosen trade ('cept the eye), she was very pleased with it. Woo hoo!
